Mod results with race gas vs. pump gas

I've noticed that with mid range set-ups e.g. 24/18 the biggest differences appear to be when using race gas. Otherwise it looks like the delta between 24/18s and a K24 set-up is not as large. Is this accurate?

If so, if one is planning to use just pump gas, is it worth going beyond a K16/K24 setup with supporting mods - flash, exhaust, intake?

no even on pump the 18s will spank a k24 car nicely. but obviously shine up top on higher boost with race gas, and or meth inj.

HI,Been there done that....Back to back racing, straight line, with both set-ups on my car..AND dynoing both setups, both were in pump gas mode, around 1.2 bars.I do not think it was that big of a spank difference??.......Just my review.....

subjective question... if one has k24s I would upgrade them to 18s anytime...
if your about to spend $4200 then no.... I have a few clients that had k24s all boosted... they did the 18gs, injectors, ICs, and on pump its a different animal...
it comes down to parts, good install... and good fine tune of course...
