Looking for LED daytime running lights for 996 turbo
#16
997TT LED indicators go for around $800 for the pair. No one but the dealer sells them. I looked. Then you still need to swap out all of the amber LEDs to cool white LUXEON LUMILEDS. Honestly after going through this process either go with Techart LEDs or a great alternative Pre-Modded 997TT White LEDs like VividRacing sells (much easier, less time consuming, and cost about the same). The last part I've had to work out is a custom resistor box to keep the lights on without blowing them out. Don't forget labor guys.

I put the LEDs on my 997 Carrera. I ordered them on line (about $500). They were full housing replacements for the stock lights. They have amber turn LED's and bright white running lights. They make my 05 997 look 3 years newer and provide a great visibility factor for other drivers. I don't see how they could be modified to fit my 996TT. BTW: they had to be wired so they came on with the ignition instead of the headlight switch. Still looking for a simpler way to go for the 996.
