yeah good thing it was on the straight, it could have been ugly.

I still say it was ugly, our poor car got destroyed. It should be as good as new in a couple of days with a new wrap as well. I'll post up some pics when it's finished.

bucky, these things always look less dramatic on video than when in the car. the g forces and noise make things way worse. Last year at the PBOC enduro at Daytona at near 190mph in NASCAR turn 4 picked up a Cup car doors piece of CF and blew a tire. the vid wasnt that bad, I thought in car it was horrible.
bottom line I know how you feel, I didnt hit anything and the tire destroyed the car.

glad you were ok.

Nice save Bucky...could have been worse if conact had been made with another car or armco...the tire flaps always wreak havoc on the bumpers and quarter panels but at least you were able to replace, tape up and move on!

I bet that made the butt pucker!!!!

Tom what size slick can I fit on the rear? I have some Pirelli 325/650's for rear and 245/645's for the front.
