ESK is infamous around these parts
There is a dark blue (Mendip Blue?) over cream in my building with bamboo wood on the dash and doors. The car is absolutely gorgeous. Nobody does a GT like AM.

It looks a lot bigger then the TT because of the angles, the TT is about 3 feet further back. Also the S2000 and TT are not mine, both are friends cars.

As for opinions, read Sloopy's post. The car is a GT, but it drives much better then the SL and CL's that I have driven. It feels very sporty even though it weighs a LOT.

As for pics, I have some more from that same day. Here are a few:

Can kind of see Mt. Rainier in the background

totally different transmission in the DB9. It is a true auto, not an F1.

The transmission is the best auto I have driven. The paddles are great, and the shifting is very fast. On downshifts the throttle is blipped by the computer to sort of rev-match. I have driven the SMGII system from BMW (on a new M3) and I think the auto in the Aston is much better. The shifts are much smoother, but at the same time the shifts are fast (for some reason they feel faster then the M3, but it could be due to the fact that the M3 was still in break-in and I didn't drive it hard).

Overall, I am very impressed with the transmission. The manual is coming for the DB9, supposed to be available in the US in May (I think it is already available in Europe, but not sure).
