That car looks stunning except for the huge wing, he should had just gone with the Gemballa Biplane wing (or GTR biturbo Wing as they call it), too much money to dump on a 99 that can probably get burned by a boxster S and maybe a regular 2.7boxster with fabspeed cats. He needs to raise the sperm count on that bad boy ASAP, if he is dropping money like its hot whats another 10g's for a blower. Either way that wing is so big he has so much space for turbos, why not even do the biturbo from gemballa. Also if he spent the money on a widebody conversion he should have at least done the gemballa air intakes not that stupid looking turbo poser scoop, when its not a turbo. Hes already dumped so much money in it that it is not even worth it to sell it and start it right in the first place by modding a turbo. He is in so deep that theres no point in stopping now, tell him to call his boy Heins at gemballa in Cali to give him a deal on this engine and install a biturbo on it while he is at it: heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=46093

If not at least spend 12g's on an Akkurat or EVOMS supercharger so his "Biturbo Look GT700" doesnt get burned by one of those new Volvo S40's when hes with a girl in the car.

Yeah it's a catch 22 for sure. It would be pointless to sell it because it's probably not worth much. They stripped the car down to nothing to lighten the load, then he puts all that stereo equipment in there. Go figure. He has a Viper as well that he drives mostly.

I told him to send it to Ruf in the first place if he wanted a real car. He wanted Gemballa so that's what he got.

he could still drop an x-50 turbo and trany from a junkyard and get some power out of it. that could be a whole nother project.
not to say i would do the same but to me the whole fun is building up the car.

Since it's a German car with an Asian look to it, here's what I came up with for a definition for a name for it.

BOUDIN!

Boudin
A spicy sausage made from rice, pork, pork liver, onion, and seasonings. Has a course texture.

He found a wrecked TT with an undamaged engine and tranny awhile back. I don't think he wanted to do the project. It could be a fun little track car minus the Vanilla Ice stereo and XXXlbs it adds.
