Hey guys, here are the pics from today. They are not really that good, still experimenting with the new camera... took most of them on wrong settings.

Hey Mike, we really missed you after you went for gas; we waited at the lake side for quite some times; and Enrique went back looking for you.

Rich, you missed the last stretch on Monterey Rd., we all went a LITTLE over the speed limit; that was a GOOD finish for the day. I was surpised that my wife said her heart wasn't pumping that fast.

Great times. Glad to meet you all finally. I had a great time on the drive. Sorry I had to cut out early and not stay for lunch. On the plus side, I don't think I've ever made it to Morgan Hill in such a short period of time

Hmm, not a bad idea. Guy, F1, Tony, Tom, Paul, Eric, Rich, Mike, Harry... something to think about.

Great drive again, and the weather was amazing!

And on my way home I came across two more turbos on a drive - silver 996 and silver 997 - heading north on Highway 85 - early afternoon. Anyone here resemble this? You guys should join us :-)

Tahoe before summer / school break

That sounds very nice... let me throw this out there: Thunderhill on Sat May 28, spend the night (Sac suburbs or ???), early Sunday morning up to Tahoe, spend Sun night in Tahoe, early Mon morning home (I'm not sitting in Memorial Day traffic !!)

Understand with the holiday weekend some might have other plans... and likely Tahoe will be crowded... but for us early morning types (no Enrique, I don't mean 2am), it could be quite nice. PM or e-me if you might be interested, and perhaps we can realize a critical mass to make a trip of it.

Hey guy,
I was actually thinking about two different trips. I don't think my wife would like to go to the track day but she will go to a Tahoe trip if we have one.

Agree with that statement. I'm sure there are some good roads up in Tahoe. Would be fun

I have a friend that owns two hotels in Truckee and could probably get a group rate. Memorial Day weekend is usually pretty crowded, but there are plenty of places to drive. Old highway 40 from Donner Lake to the summit - short beautiful road with a classic old bridge. Highway 89 north of Truckee to Sierra Valley and Gray Eagle is incredible. Of course out to the lake is always gorgeous although crowded with traffic on that weekend. Just some thoughts. Track day sounds fun also.
