Im running 315/30/18 Kumho XS on 11 inch rims with no rubing issues.
Have 235/40/18 on front.

With the Kumho XS, these are the sizes you will need to keep near equal rotation so there will be no issues with the traction control system.

I'm running my GT2 with stock size R888's on 12 inch rear, 9 inch front, GMG wheels. Although I bought the tires for the track, I loved them so much they are now permanent. I do 95% street driving. Took off my PS2's and never looked back. The R888's are great. They make up for a lot of the 996 GT2's problematic stock suspension set up. Also grip so well I think I have traction control (The PS2's would spin and slide whenever the car was even slightly pushed. Don't get me wrong, PS2's are a quality product, but I live in Vegas where it never rains and the streets are super greasy). My GT2 feels like a different, better, car. Hey, anyone interested in some 300 mile old PS2's?

I use the R888s on the street. In fact it is the only tire I run. I do some autox with them as well.

Thanks Pat !

you will need a 235/40/18 to perfectly match the 315 in the back. Toyo makes the R888 in this size as well
these are the stock sizes on a GT2 and the diameters match perfectly at 25.5" (so no diff problems for those that use AWD)
