Good post Buddy. I had plans to JUST change my wheels and possibly lower the car. This board influenced me to do all the Techart items, bypass pipes, and interior mods. That's why I can't sell it

I had no idea what mods were untill I stumbled upon 6speedonline and Arling!!
Then it all made sense, life is about mods!!
Unfortunately I've been banned from buying anything else from Arling for the next few months?

It is actually suprising how many people did plan on modifying their car before purchase. I wonder if that was because they were browsing this board for a while before they bought their tt?

I checked #2 as prior to purchase, I did know of a few minor mods that I was going to do (cosmetic (wheels, wing) + exhaust).
but I ended up finding out through use of these boards/etc how many more cool mods are out there ... so in the end thanks to 6speed modified much more than originally planned ... don't regret it one bit

When I first acquired my turbo, I planned to do a modest ECU upgrade, exhaust, coilovers and wheels. I was confident in my conviction that I would never change the turbos (thus the reason I went with an x50). Since taking possession of the car, I have used seven different programs (stock, 3 FVD programs, a wonderful Gunther program, and 2 GIAC programs), with an eighth program going in shortly, four different sets of turbos (stock, FVD, k16 hybrid and ZC Stage V), with a fifth set of turbos going in shortly, and I have pursued endless upgrades that I never conceived of when I first acquired the car (see below). Its an addiction, pure and simple, not unlike gambling or drugs. When I first test drove a stock turbo, I nearly crapped in my pants. Today, a stock turbo doesn't rock me like it used to.
