Good post Buddy. I had plans to JUST change my wheels and possibly lower the car. This board influenced me to do all the Techart items, bypass pipes, and interior mods. That's why I can't sell it

Yeah,

I was just happy to have a 996 turbo. Probably was going to do an exhaust and stereo that was it. But all you guys started having way too much fun with more horsepower and now look where I am!

I bought this car with the intent to modify from the very start.

Nope - never modded a car before other than air filter, exhaust and pedals, etc...
It is really this forum's fault...However, I have been introduced to the world of modding and have no regrets!
It is an expensive pass time but also very satisfying....for me the best part is researching mods before choosing them....
Flooring a 600HP TT is priceless

The forums fault. No regrets. Slowly and carefully over the past 1-1/2 years.

Yes indeed. That was the reason I bought the TT as it is tough as old boots and can be modded to hell without blowing the thing up.

Just like my E39, did all the mods myself and its the only one like in North America. 450 HP without nitrous, plus a 100 shot....you get the idea...she is a real sleeper, just how I like it.

I am considering selling her now the TT is on the way.

I modded my '00 996 Carerra, so I knew going in what I planned to do to the TT. Wheels, chip, exhaust, intake, SSK, Diverters. However, nothing earthshaking like mega HP, Moton, etc.
