Ferris Bueller and Valets

Anyone ever have a Valet do a Ferris Beuller on your car? Or are you a dummy like me and have to pay some dude 20 dollars to leave it up front?

I recently paid a valet not too touch my car. Valet parking was mandatory, or at least the fee was.

Mr. Ritche- "thats how you gave us the car"

Down here in South Florida I have to plan on what car I am going to take based on the parking situations.. My biggest fear is them hitting things because the car is lowered. Also some severe over revs would go unnoticed.

A valet wrecked my car (beautiful Series III Jaguar XJ6). while I was having dinner with a date. Not only did I not get comped, they didn't even warn me -- dip**** pulled around in front of the restaurant where I was waiting with my date, and the front right quarter was completely smashed in. I'm usually a pretty mild-mannered guy, but I went postal that night.

Get a GIAC flashloader, get a valet program for it, problem solved . I reset the peak boost on my boost gauge, and if I see they got on boost, I go ballistic - hasn't happened yet luckily. I just make the girlfriend drive and all is well ha ha.

It was a first date. She did make me feel much better. And the restaurant did, of course, pay all damages.

Whats Worse? Can't Win

What's worse? A valet with a turbo, or a pissed off valet when he finds out you have a valet chip?

i use my camera phone to take a pic of the mileage right before turning it over (and make sure the guy sees me doing this) ... then tip him a lot so he realizes I'm not just trying to be a *****, but who knows if this joker knows how to drive a lowered car? ... unfortunately you need to tip enough so they respect the car and you ... min $50 at most places nowadays .

Ouch, $50? For parking your car? Just lease a beater for less than you'll spend tipping the valet's in a month .

Soup seems tart

When he (or she) watches you take a photo, you can be sure the cook is going to **** in your soup
