big problem with my car AGAIN
long story short, i picked my car up .. drove it home..
car was practically on empty, i filled it up...
drove it 1 block, gave it some power... and it started sputtering and misfiring.
the car almost stalls but doesnt let itself stall.
on the highway it feels totally fine, on the street it feels like its running on 1 cylinder.
durametric is saying there is a misfire on every cyclinder, except one
we replaced the fuel, spark plugs, and the MAF... and still the same issue...
what do you guys think the problem could be ?

Any chance you picked up some trash at the bottom of the gas tank and it got into your injectors?
Just a thought.
It happened to me on another vehicle and it did the same thing.....didn't idle worth a darn but would run almost normal on the highway.
Not sure if the same would hold true with a P-car.

Just a thought... I have seen two cars with this issue... one threw a CEL at 3000 and instantly went away, other kept the CEL a bit... check out post #23 in the below thread.

Given that you are getting misfires on all cylinders, it is not a "cylinder specific" problem.
Think something that feeds all cyls...fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter... have yoy monitored fuel pressure? Usually a clogged in fueling (ie filter) will show itself at increasing throttle (when it is calling for more fuel). Classic is that it runs fine at idle and part throttle, then msifires and limp at WOT
All I got.

I also have the UMW OBD device. Stock is usually #1. Put it in the OBD, the green light goes on. Push down on the button until the red light begins to flash. Let it go, wait till the green light comes back on steady and the red light goes off. Turn off the ignition, and pull out the device. Remember, you can always call Kevin.
