Anyone LIKE to drive their car in the rain?

Enjoying all of the thoughts on this. To me, snow is a completely different beast. I've driven a lot in snow up in the mountains (not in the Porsche), and I can see that it might also be fun. But there's something about the rain that I really like -- you can still drive reasonably fast, the sounds of the rain hitting the car, the sounds and spray of the water off the roads, the slick look of a wet Porsche.....

I love driving the 996TT in the rain. My favorite part is when PSM kicks in on a corner or on a straight line pull. The only time I shy away from rain is if I just detailed the car, then I only drive it in good weather for a few days. After a few days, I drive in the rain again and enjoy it.

:-) Wow! And I hand wash 2-3 times a week during the season!
I can't bring myself to expose my car to the harsh winters. I bought it new in '02 and it still looks like new after 106,000 miles. If I drove it winters, it would be trashed by now. Can't wait to get it out in a few weeks...finally.

I could share some detailing tips so that you could never miss a beat and never tell how old your car was.
And being a black car person and having learned from the best of the best, Bradley himself of Bradley's Bellevue,,, a garage, a California Car Duster, a good clay bar technique, a handful of Mother's Products and a bunch of wax on wax off movements would bring your car back to where it once was.
And I might even leave a mint on the seat when I am done.
