Enjoying all of the thoughts on this. To me, snow is a completely different beast. I've driven a lot in snow up in the mountains (not in the Porsche), and I can see that it might also be fun. But there's something about the rain that I really like -- you can still drive reasonably fast, the sounds of the rain hitting the car, the sounds and spray of the water off the roads, the slick look of a wet Porsche..... I haven't had much opportunity for that this winter. All that rain you are getting in Fremont has been huge snow up here. We have so much, that I am sure I will have snow in my backyard in June. My deck is 12 feet off the ground and the snow level is just slightly above that.

I can't bring myself to expose my car to the harsh winters. I bought it new in '02 and it still looks like new after 106,000 miles. If I drove it winters, it would be trashed by now. Can't wait to get it out in a few weeks...finally.

And being a black car person and having learned from the best of the best, Bradley himself of Bradley's Bellevue,,, a garage, a California Car Duster, a good clay bar technique, a handful of Mother's Products and a bunch of wax on wax off movements would bring your car back to where it once was.

And I might even leave a mint on the seat when I am done.
