What do you drive??

You seem to be fairly critical when someone posts pics on this forum but never once has posted your ride.

Those are Donz. IMO they don't fit the car but still look better than the stock ones. I bet that thing has a bad a$$ stereo system too.

All Porsche OEM wheels suck!!! CGT ones remind me of the OEM Cayenne 20's.

Just to clarify I am not associated with the girl in the photo . I believe that photo was on Donz gallery at some point. BTW latest rumor is that these will be standard on the CGT for MY 2006 (see link)

Okhjoon is correct, the car is owned by a persian guy named Sam Nazarian, who owns a few nightclubs around LA such as Shelter, Prey, and the Viceroy Hotel.

As to why he would put those wheels on his CGT... looks like his constituent customers at his tuning shop JD parallels the 'ghetto fabulous' crowd at Shelter on Saturdays or Prey on Fridays. I guess we would call that cross-promotion?

I personally think it is sacriligious to put Donz wheels on a CGT, plain and simple. But then again, I never got the impression that JD was a shop catering to the hardcore enthusiast.

If white boys are the ones opposed to this wheel, then I sure hope I am completely 'white-washed'... no make that bleached. I'd rather be square than be ghetto any day of the week. If this style is indicative of what orientals like, then I am truly ashamed for my race.

Stock magnesium wheels are beautiful personally. I wouldn't change a thing on my CGT. The car is perfect.

The car with black wheels probably looks awesome in person, as most cars on this forum do.

However this forum and others wouldn't exist if there were no aftermarket changes and personal preferences of people, period. The aftermarket is multimillion dollar a year business. Witness the automakers making their "premarket" changes (e.g. AMG, M-division, and the proverbial "sport packgage).

My 2 cents

ghetto or square, you just embarrassed yo damn self, buddy, and you aint' even from fargo

anyways, no offense intended with my original comment. I personally wouldn't touch the CGT, but if i saw that car on wheels, the last thing i'd do is point my nose up at it. in a way, i find it almost as "non-sensical" as people putting 19" HREs on their 996s.

but it's all relative. this forum is pure entertainment.
