FYI - P1250 and P0442 Codes - Serpentine Belt
Bottom line up front... if you get a P1250 or P0442 code, check your serpentine belt.
Thought I would share as an FYI.
Few days ago I received the following above codes pop up... around the time I received the codes I had noticed a little drop in boost. Was thinking my DVs might be the issue as they are stock. Got the car back in the garage and started checking things out. Closer look behind the air box, I noticed my belt had frayed and two ribs had split off and were missing... the missing piece had stuck between the exhaust bracket just beyond the left side lower pulley.
Ended up tackling the install yesterday and it took all of 20 minutes. To note, I should have cut the old belt off as it took me a few minutes to get it from around the pullies and out from the tight space. I also ended up taking off a guide pulley (bolted to the bottom of the alternator) which made it a lot easier to get the belt started and it ended up falling right in place.

I'd be curious to know if the codes come back, which I expect they will. Those codes really have nothing to do with a serpentine belt being frayed. My guess is you have another issue somewhere. Unless the frayed material jammed the wastegate somehow.
1250 is a boost deviation code (wastegate bypass flap, or turbo compressor shaft issue.), and 0442 is a gas tank evap code.

I had the p1250 and it turned out to be a boost leak.
I had to drop the engine because the plastic inlet manifold on bank 2 had come loose and lifted off the rubber connecting pipes
Took me a while to find it
hope this helps

Like to thank Ivan at IMA Motorsports as he was able to track down and replace a few parts related to both codes. Car is back to normal and runs much better than before.
I'll place up the part numbers of the pieces he replaced when I get some free time.
Cheers,
Allen
