Excellent weather, dry roads, hot rides and the Nuerburgring ("gruene hoelle" = green hell). It was a blast. Here are some impressions from today.

Zakspeed Viper (which was used as a "Ring-Taxi" today). I.e. you could pay for a ride as a passenger in it... and that thing was literally _flying_.

The guys in that GT3 were sleeping at the drive-in to the ring, while the track was temporarily closed after an accident.

No, sorry. The car passed by my TT in the background. Didn't see it before. After I put down the camera, I looked at it and I wasn't sure whether it really was a GT3 or a C2 with a GT3 bodykit.

@ChrisNJ: Yea... and the weather was perfect! I'm not too happy about the motorbikes on the track though. They cause a lot of trouble.

Awesome pics! I'm guessing this was one of those public days that they open the ring up??

Exactly. But today, they not only opened the "Nordschleife", but also the Grand Prix Circuit. I took a 6 laps ticket for 80 Euros (around 60 USD) and it was well worth every penny.

Dozens of P-cars..., but absolutely no SLs, just one Gallardo and no Ferrari. Seems like a Porsche-only track.
