big thanks to epl...getting my car back soon...725 hp
#31
My car is with Tony right now getting the same treatment (3076's). I cant wait to get it back. Question: why stop at 600rwhp and a maxed out stock fuel pump, and not throw in another fuel pump and go for another 100hp?

Great numbers on pump! My car hit 600whp/630tq with the Alpha 3076 but it also has the dual pumps and meth. Maybe its not worth the trouble and $$ to do dual pumps if you plan on using pump fuel only? Meth however is a nice hp boost for the money. I would hit up Tony for an Aquamist kit
Things get spendy fast when going over 600. Your tranny is probably going to need to be upgraded (mine went after tuning it past 600whp, you will also need a dual or triple disc clutch, stronger axles, etc. Then you will be worrying about your rods bending as well. Slippery slope....

Nice thread...I've heard good things about Tony and EPL and their tuning on these FI 996 cars...def a good idea to tie components together...
Tony quick Q for ya...if I have a tune already (tuned by TPC here in MD) and I just want to do an exhaust swap...do I need to get a re-tune? thanks for the help buddy...any suggestions on brand/type of exhaust? I was thinking to do some small mods and leave the car at that, no worries or hassles and fully reversable...an exhaust, tune, and BMC air filter seems like one of the first mod groupings folks seem to do....

perhaps still trying to decide what direction to go w my GT2...be it a basicly stock car with tune, intake, and exhaust...or work out some sort of build with a sustainable gain goal, and have it so that it is 100% reversable to stock trim for not deminishing value of the car down the road
