Question Removal of dash/radio trim

Hey im new to the site, i have searched but couldnt find a nice simple guide to take out the radio outer trim.. my PSM button has been pushed all the way through and i cant reach it so need to remove the trim.. the car is getting vinyl wrapped this weekend too, so i might as well trim that part same colour whilst its off.

Cheers

You need to remove the horseshoe, it's fairly easy I usually grab the bottom right corner and pull, then I use a plastic putty knife with a single layer cotton tshirt around it (so you don't scratch anything), then work it around the horseshoe starting from the bottom right, work my way up and around, it just pops off.

From there you may be able to address your issue, if needed, you may need to remove the 4 torx screws holding the black frame, this may give you some maneuverability or possibly may need to remove the radio (if you have radio keys).

The buttons do come out (that's probably why yours is pushed in) but usually you really have to want them to come out. To remove, just push the posts on one side real hard towards the middle. To put the button back, just push into the hole where it belongs and push real hard until it clicks. One side may go in before the other, if so - pull the posts that are not seated towards the outside. That should do it.
