update, 40k mile service! (hard to believe I put 23k miles on it since purchase)
Big thanks to Johnathan at ECS Tuning for help with ordering my tune up bits! I just changed the oil and I'll be installing a new aif filter, MAF, plugs, and coil packs. I expect this will cure the hesitation I've been experiencing under heavy boost. If it doesn't, then I'll test for boost leaks.

Those last shots are amazing with the city in the background. I used to live in Fort Worth and visited Austin often, mostly when headed to float the river though. Thank you for the support Sir!!

Beautiful pictures!! Thanks for sharing. The BMW pictures just remind me that I have to fix mine (325i 2001) this morning after more than 9 years ownership and hundreds of failures…. Had no luck with my bimmer...

Thanks for the compliments guys!
So I've completed the oil change, and replaced the air filter and MAF. The car feels much better as in the throttle response is sharper and it builds boost much faster. I was seeing .9 bar a few times last night and it gets there quick. It is still giving me a slight shudder occasionally but I'm keeping my fingers crossed the new plugs and coils will solve that. Also, I have a BMC and a k&n reusable air filter for $30 shipped each if anyone is interested. They both need to be cleaned prior to their next use.

I know I've been dormant for a while. Since the last update I had the plugs and coils replaced as well as a leakdown test performed. There was a leak which was corrected and with all the preventative maintenance the car felt great!
Until recently when my alternator died. I had the car towed to a little tuning company called Cobb (some of you may have heard of them) and they replaced my alternator. They also did a little more while it was there...
As y'all may know if you've followed this thread, my only performance mods are a Techart exhaust, (supposedly an ECU flash of unknown origin), and a few lbs of weight reduction. Those are some healthy gains and a nice curve IMO. The car feels really great now! I've already put about 300 spirited miles on it since the tune and haven't had a single issue or CEL. It puts a huge smile on my face in 3rd and 4th gear
Below is a shot of the AP dash mounted in my car from their website.
