That's the one. I wanted to pass along a real discussion on people that actually know what they are talking about. It seems that the concensus is that the limit of K24's is around 520whp, correct?

Ben -

I made this offer locally and never heard back. To be fair I didn't offer the dyno of his choice since his dyno read 844rwhp already.

I even offered to run him in the GT2 on wastegates and pump gas.

With stock K24s,,I made 505 rear wheel HP on a Dynojet with GIAC,93 oct map,DVs,K+N filter and Cargraphics muff/cats{I have that system for sale..lol..}

Thats the real question !! Have any K24 stock turbo cars gone sub 8s on pump ?? Mine is low 8's on pump (Vpower) but can't crack it with tune 200cell cats and headers... no upgraded wastegate springs tho.

Yes, but meth does all the difference in the world IMO...

In fact Audikp did 600+ with stock IC and inlets, but with 3071 and 50/50 meth inj..

On straight 93 pump fuel, Tony's words, " I guess about 650 crank with some room for more if you want later"... (refferred to my setup)

Luis, I think I have found the answer for you in a roundabout way. The link below discusses the differences between the K24 and K24/18g, and basically the gist is that the K24 flows 32.4 lbs/min and an 18g flows 40lbs/min. So if I interpret it close, if an 18g can do 800 whp, then under the same conditions a K24 would hit 650 whp. The only thing I don't know is over spin, and if the stock turbos have a max below that. But from that thread it is obvious that K24's cannot go to anywhere near what an 18g does. Hope that helps:

Thanks Dennis. That's a great thread. Either the car in question has different turbos than stock K24's or the dyno that it's being tested on is off by a significant margin.

I'd day 520-550 whp depending on the dyno being used.

I don't see 840 whp listed anywhere, just 686. Looks like he's using a 22.5% correction factor on top of the 686 whp dyno number to come with 840 crank HP (also inaccurate).

The dyno also claims 686 whp was made at only 1.1 BAR. It would take a built motor with heads, cams and GT35's to make that much power at only 1.1 BAR. Obviously, everything about this complete bull*hit.

This is actually a 2nd run that shows more "accurate" #'s. I dont have the 844whp sheet, but that was the original claim.

Well, at least they're getting closer. They only need to manipulate their dyno to drop another 150-180whp and their story might actually start becoming believable.

By looking at the graph, does that look like the way a stock K24 car pulls?
