Highest hp K24 Car?
#46
Hard to say. It's not peaky, but that may be a function of the type of dyno being used. When my car was a K24/18G car (with every other bolt-on), it made 600whp on a Dynojet at 1.3 BAR. The graphs look somewhat similar.
Regardless, no K24 based turbo will make 686 whp at 1.1 BAR.

Do you guys think that the dyno numbers might possibly have correction factors already added? 686 bhp x 0.82(18%loss) = 560 whp. which makes more sense.... Could they have put the correction factor in already?

They got 844whp with the same car before, so I think there are some other things wrong with it.

Mmh, come on...as a matter of fact, K24's do choke at about 30-32 lb/minute, which on our cars gives power in the ball park of 600 crank HP.
So, IMO, there's no way a K24 equipped TT would dyno much more than 500WHP.
These turbos phisically cannot flow that much.
This is a repost, but it may be interesting for the discussion:
K24
GT28RS
GT3071R
16g
20g
Sorry I cannot find the 18g map right now.

Did I use the word "choke" in the wrong way? Sorry I have troubles with english sometimes..
Well, maybe " K24s are near the choking line on the compressor map at those flow rates" is a better sentence..
