new battery
Got a new light weight battery the other day . I had to make a mounting system for it. Saved about 30 lbs. So far no issues. Also the car runs much better after disconnecting the battery.

I used the Odyssey 680 for 4 years on my 996TT. It works great in "cold" California weather. I only had problems when I did not plug it in to a charger/maintainer. It was good for 2 weeks unplugged. It is not a Lithium battery It's a AGM battery, so they don't go bad if it dies like a lead acid.
