My new 996 Turbo S

Hello,

I just bought my new 996 TT S with 45,000km on it,Europipe exhaust,K&N intake and GIAC Flashloader (only with pump and stock remap),KW v3 and aerokit.I bought also 19'Gt3 wheels

The car is much better than my previous car (CaymanS RS350 evoms),more supercar in one word.

I want to stay at this stage for some time to learn the car better but I want to complete the first stage.

I have some questions...

1)When I use the pump program the max pressure is 1,1bar.The previous owner had the program since 2006.Is there an upgrade with more pressure?
2)I use pump gas 100RON,can I install the race program and what is the maximum pressure that increases?
3)Do you think that I'll see a big difference with 1bar wastegates and blow valves?

I send mail to champions motorsport, and to GIAC but no answer yet.

I'm looking for my next stage..probably alpha 3071...but I need your advice...in Europe all the tuners believe that maximun hp for stock internals are 700ps motor but in U.S 700whp....where is the truth??

I cannot help you seek the truth about horsepower, but that is indeed one fine Porsche! Well done.

Love the wheels! Tuners will chime in soon, but have heard numbers in the 700-800hp range but you will want to be very careful. You should consider the 18G upgrade with supporting mods- best bang for your euro!

Cool Giorgos, good luck man.

I was actually looking for George at the xxxx (forgot the name, but I know it was an English name) cafe at Santorini a couple of years ago... but couldn't find him.

Today GIAC answer me...I need a lot of parts to complete my 1st stage,Hitachi MAF,fuel pump,1bar wastegates and maybe fuel injectors.

In case that I will install only the 1bar wastegates, what is the maximun pressure that OEM MAF can handle?1,3bar?

I also install the 997 short shift from my previus car (CaymanS)
Much better than 996 short shift!

Santorini is a very beatiful island ....the problem is that the larger straight line is 400meters
In Athens we have also very nice roads close to sea side!

I test my 996ttS 3days ago with a Gallardo Superleggera rol from 2nd gear.996TTS won the streetrace

Glad to see GIAC is talking to you.

The roads going to Delphi should be pretty good with your TT. You can do some highway pulls and those mountain roads were NICE.

I don't know a lot but we spent 4 days in Athens and 5 days in Santorini. When we took a tour to Delphi, my wife kept reminding me... I know what you are thinking, if you have your Porsche here...

Even the taxi ride we took from downtown to Pireas was a good road, the taxi driver was "flying" thru the roads (in the morning, no traffic on the weekend). I was actually scared sitting in the front passenger seat.
