That's an easy fix... put a 250 shot on the truck. Truck motors = sorta tough

i found a triple turbo kit for it with 100psi of boost i was thinking that might solve the slow problem.

Sorry guys, not tryna thread jack or anything but what sort of figures do you think i'll come out with on the following set up...

5bar FPR
AMS Billet K16s
911tuning 3inch X system
UPS 2.5inch turbo intake pipes
Iridium plugs
Tune

Also, with the tune, whats the max boost i can run on SHell Vpower 99 octane fuel. I am in the UK so our pump fuel is 95, 97, 99 octane. i religiously use 99. THaNKS!!

Sweet I'm happy with that! Will the engine reliably take 1.4 bar?? I dont want to reduce the life of headgaskets and stuff. Also, what if i was to drop a set of 72lb injectors in, instead of the 5bar fpr. what sort of numbers and boost are we looking at then?

1.4 is pushing it for pump gas with no methonal. any higher then 1.4 bar and you should either be adding race gas or methonal injection to keeps things in check. There are tuners who will retard the timing and get you a tune for 1.5 bar but thats something you have to work out with your tuner and his comforts with your car. as anything over 1.2 bar could potentially be hazardous to your engine.

injectors would be the safer route hands down. they wont necessarily let you run more boost but will give the tuner more room to work.

Thanks for the replies OS Inspector. What if I was to throw in a set of 3.5" intercoolers what sort of numbers am I looking at then?

What Turbos do I need to get 560-600whp on UK pump gas (99) @ 1.3bar boost?

damn, it's frustrated that i see you guys making these magical #'s, i've got the 24/18g w/ max'ed supporting mods (minus meth inj) but still just pulling 500rwhp on a wheels-off dynopack w/ 91 pump @ 1.2bar... changing the plugs right now to see if things will improve (having miss-firing in low rpms between 2k~3k, and also a few idle-drops), but i can't imaging how low of the # would be on an AWD mustang... sigh...

On 91 octane pump fuel those numbers aren't all that bad.

on an AWD mustang dyno though, right? but mine was on the wheel-off dynapack RWD dyno... shouldn't it have higher readings with 0 friction AND just RWD?

18g or 20g blouch billets FTW! Starting with a K24 that seems to be the natural path...that said I am very impressed with the Alpha units from A28 to the bigger GT3071 and GT35 type setups...

So many choices...

Markski buddy how goes it ?

I thought Blouch was doing billet or some sort of new wheel upgrade for the 18 and 20g upgrades on the X50's K24 turbos?
