K16 billets and 16G may make close to peak power of 18G but their HP curve starts to drop off after 5500rpm vs where a larger turbo will keep that max hp number to redline...
The Switzer ones don't according to their dyno graph.

don't think he was trying to be a smartass, he just wrote the answer (6spd) in the message title instead of the text body

Yes, Switzers dyno shows more on top end. Tony said we could tune it like that, but I specifically told Tony to tune my car to get more down low with a good flat curve on both as long as possible. I never redline the car, I want to be tracking this car and same engine for the next 10 years so longevity is key, and I will sacrifice a little up top for that. I have driven many fast cars and bkes and even with the 93 octane this car is stupid fast for any track (road course, of course) with 100 octane forget it

soloracer996TT is infamous around these parts
I have the AMS Billett 16's, larger injectors, water/meth injection and according to the on board computer I was seeing as high as 34 mpg at a steady 60 mph. On a 200 mile road trip I averaged 25 mpg. I was impressed.

Hmmm, I guess Tony could chime in, but I wonder why they don't tune them like that initially? I don't know that the huge torque numbers are that appealing when it looks like they just fall off a cliff on the top end.
