ECU flash question

Hi guys, first time posting but have gathered great info here in the past...

I have a 2001 996 Turbo, 28k miles. It already has AP billet diverter valves, AP hose kit and a flat panel K&N. All done by the previous owner. My question is what would be the best flash to go with and with those mods, plus flash, what kind of increase should I expect? Thanks!

thats a question , you need to research for your self, call , talk to the tuner and see who you feel more comfortable with , etc etc. there are plenty of good tuners out there.
protomotive is what i chose , but you really cant go wrong with epl or evoms either.

i would definately look to get an exhaust also .. as fro the gains do a search on here you will find what your looking for and if you talk to the tuner they will be able to help you further.

At that level they are all good. But the modding bug's venom is quick acting so I would use someone you can look in the eye and shake their hand and they can take you to the next levels. Switzer is in your state I would try them.

I'm in Columbus too. I have a Switzer tune and EP loud exhaust. You DEFINATELY want the flash, and exhaust. It makes a huge difference. We can meet up for coffee and chat sometime if you wish. I know a couple other Porsche owners in the area. The more the merrier!

I think you need to get 15 posts before you can PM...

To be efficient and effective, flash and exhaust and better clutch
are the right (complete) next step. If/when you get extra power, and start
using it, the stock clutch will often give up the ghost quickly.

Oh, and as (only) a satisfied customer, I have run and competed with
more than one chip-tuning program. I recommend UMW. You get a
little programmer that will hold up to 8 programs you can plug under your
dash, and switch between programs in 30 seconds. I have a 'valet' setting
that turns off the boost entirely! You can drive it and park it fine, but you
couldn't catch a fleeing Fiat. If someone stole your car, they couldn't
even get into a high-speed chase! It would be one of those odd low-speed
ones till the crook gave up in frustration.
