Definitive drive cycle to reset?

If your engine is all stock you really shouldn't have any problems if your car is in good health. You may want to do a boost leak test. My issue is that I have 60lb injectors and a bunch of other stuff. My tune is catless so I was trying to pass with my stock tune and stock exhaust temporarily installed, which I did succeed at in the past. For whatever reason I couldn't get it this time and I tried my *** off.

my car is fine and running perfectly. my issues have usually been getting the final "cat ready" ( the most difficult ) to trigger. but with my kline i never had issues before.
just before i cleared codes recently and r&r'd my n75 i noticed that the cats were "ready" along with all other monitors. i was shocked and hated to clear the code! as that begins the entire process anew. but i've got a cpl months lol. i should be ok THIS time.

Thread revival- I’m back in CA and ready to get my car smog fed finally. Checked my readiness signals and because the battery got disconnected I have to reset and try the drive described above. Sounds like another early morning drive is needed foe me. I’ve set my tune to “Stock” and am hoping I can pass with my Khline 2.5” with CATs otherwise will reach out to the board foes a rental option.

Happy to report that another successful SMOG test. Put the car “Stock” via GIAC controller and after resetting I did the drive cycle above cleared my codes then sniffed the car. Even with the KHLINE 200cell system it passed with flying colors.

I was able to get my 02 996 C2 to pass after following the driving method listed above. It took several cold starts for the air injection and catalyst to record. My battery had died due to storing the car. I'll drive it more now. Thanks for the help. Love that car!!

^ bo last i checked there are only "slow lanes" on the 405 ha.
man i dont miss those bi-annual smog tests argh. every year one of the two cars needed testing and had to jump thru hoops. when i lived in canyons the drive cycle was near impossible to stay within the parameters. i'd hit the road at 5 am hoping to beat any traffic - one stop and ya gotta start all over.
every once in awhile i stare at my "cat delete" pipes sitting in the garage and say.. nah, save the earth lol

Yeah, it is a PITA, but I with all my mods, this is the first time I have had the issues. After resetting, it passes the sniff test with no issues!

i thought the star stations didn't use the sniffer any longer. thankfully i've forgotten about all the hoops to jump thru. can run catless here but im not gonna bother.
i hear horror stories from guys that had shiny red y-pipes and even getting flagged for exhausts! i just couldnt deal any longer. lost my house in the woolsey fire then cv19 hit and masks etc. the writing was on the wall.
hang in there brother bo! - and hold down SoCal for me lol

I do not think so. I used Torque App and a cheap $13 bluetooth OBD2 reader. Torque app states all the line items that are "not ready" yet for emissions inspection.
