thats cause you haven't driven behind your car on the freeway, i have a Fabspeed Loud and couldn't even hear my exhaust following a 996tt Tip with straight pipes down the freeway.

On any forced air inducted car, especially a turbo, you do not want any back pressure. I just had my car done at evoms and it got the most power with no cats or muffler, straight off the turbos with no back pressure was the best. Of course you wouldnt run it right off the turbo's so we did no cats and evoms mufflers with 76 mil tube., that gave me most power. They are the ones that gave me this info about back pressure on turbo cars.

Not sure why people are losing low end, but I just got a 3" straight pipe w/crossover & 4 mufflers done by a local shop (kind of like Markski's design w/single outs) and picked up 25 RWHP pretty much THROUGHOUT the range - I need to dig up the pre/post dyno sheet, but definitelly a noticable improvement.
