Looking for 700whp

BL750 kit for $12K that seems to be good value...is it 750 at the crank on race gas though?? If so what wheel numbers are we talking about on pump gas? That's the real world usage for a kit on a street car...

20K will be enough for 600+WHP IMO.
Look, a setup like mine (A3071 with supporting mods) made about 530 to the wheels on pump gas on a Mustang dyno at 1,35bar..
I have something near 13K in mods only on my car, and I don't know what the bill will be for labor.
But I don't expect much more than 500 honestly. According to what my tuner says, 650 CRANK will be the end result approximately. On 93 pump gas.
I'm sure I'll get to 600+ wheel whe I add meth. injection.

I am the OP, some of you say 700 whp is not possible with pump gas but switzer's P800 package claims 700 whp on Pump gas and is priced at $18k for a 996 turbo. I've read this doesn't include installation etc but I dont mind stretching my budget to about $23-25k. So I'm guessing Switzers P800 package would be the most ideal to meet my 700whp Pump gas target?, Even if it is 670-680 whp I would be fine with that.

There is a UK Chap, Ken on this forum. He owns http://www.nineexcellence.com/
He has been running Tod K 20g blow through set up with 800 BHP (OTA)
Why not contact him. He will be able to help you out as well. They are based near London. Frank

Dynojet/Mustang/DynoDynamics/Dynapack... makes a difference. I.e. 700 isn't 700 isn't 700 across the board... it'll depend.

750 hp would probably be around the 600 whp mark, and 850 package is around 700 whp. I think both these packages are on Pump gas, because the Nissan GTR packages on their website with similar outputs are on Pump.

However you would do well to believe those of us who actually have 700 whp cars that you will eventually spend close to $30K.
There are always odds and ends like...oh a clutch, etc. Most also need to roll their fenders for the intake.

The apocalypse is upon us... I agree with Jitsu. No other car in my adult life suffers from Mod "creep" like the 996. There never is a single upgrade at these levels, always a hidden cost. I had 700whp on 93 with my last tune and was a bit over 30K. Actually, I am going to post some 93 numbers in a few days since Todd is doing a 93 file on my new setup in case I have a lack of E85 on the road....

Block... I do have a built bottom end but it is irrelevant to the discussion. Running too much boost and/or improper tune on pump gas will grenade built and stock motors alike. Sure the built motor might take a bit more punishment but you cant run extreme boost and survive much detonation on pump gas. My motor breathes better from some of the mods so it makes better power on pump gas at a lower boost. Race gas can hide some tuning issues but you have to have perfect tuning for pump gas numbers in the 700whp range.

Hey A199, . Is it that I'm from the UK that you dont seem arsed to reply. I have made a few valid points and given you one of then best Porsche tuners website address the UK has. Some of the co owners used to work at PARR? It is normal at least to reply back to a member that offers help or advice..
