MSD 72lb injectors??
Hi guys, will these injectors fit a 996tt. Apparently they are a direct replacement for the stock BOSCH injectors. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MSD-2014-Fuel-...item1e6314a55c
Thanks!
Thanks!

I would ask your tuner first. Seems like Tony at EPL likes to use 72lb injectors in combination with a 5 BAR fuel pressure regulator.
Every tuner has their own tried and tested setup. I would just follow the beaten path after consulting with your tuner of choice first ...

I do not know the company or have ever bought anything from them, just showing the injector to buy. You will need to mod the fuel rails.

I would use an injector your tuner recommends. I've used RC and ID. I know Siemens work good as well. My old injectors were ID 1000cc and my new are ID 1600cc. All of them are High Imp. injectors.

Nope the top two. They fit the same plug as the factory injector. They are a tad bit longer and will need the fuel rail to be modded. Some guy's sell spacers other weld a piece on the mounting pads to add the distance. I weld on as the fuel psi and boost psi are trying to pop the injector out.

Is it the Bosche EVI4's?? as the link shows quite a few injectors. also, what exactly needs doing to the fuel rail. I cant contact a tuner about this as none of them here in the UK know about changing injectors on a porsche. So i am getting the mods done myself by a porsche tech first then just going to the tuner for a map.

It will run rich. The ecu will pull some fuel trim to try an lean it out all on its own. If you are asking to have the injectors installed then drive it to get tuned the answer is yes you can.

Well I wouldn't have the money for a map for a few months after. I guess it will flood the engine with fuel by then.

LOL. I can not remember fully but I did see a car that had a evoms 700 kit in it that was flashed to stock by the dealership. It was going into limp mode do to the wastegates making more boost then the stock program would allow. I think the cold start was very rich then smoothed out.
