Nice!

Yeah, if you have a 100 foot motoryacht that carries 1500 gallons of fuel it adds up fast!

ps: Luckily (or not) I don't have that problem!

DUDE wow Cigarettes have been my favorites boats since i was born man. You have one HELL of a boat. My buddy just got rights to sell them for the midwest and I cant wait to just go there and look at them. Wow you are so lucky, seeing one of those boats just makes me feel like a four year old drooling over a new game system or something. Maybe you can help me out I was discussing Cigarettes superiority in quality and everything over Baja to amg etr and another guy but they didnt believe me.

P.S. In that pic do you have the drives trimmed way up because it looks like there are no waves...are you just porpousing like a madman to get a pic?

Your buddy should know all about my boat ... if not, he doesn't deserve to be a Cigarette dealer

If gas continues its recent climb you will be able to buy a used boat (cigarette or not) pretty darn cheap. The problem will be filling it up. People will soon find it hard to justify filling up for $500-600 or more. The $64,000 question is how high are we going to go. $3-$4-$5/gallon?

Gas prices historically go up until Labor day, then start to drop. I'm afraid we haven't seen the end of it. My TT gets good enough mileage that I'm not as concerned. I think that I need to turn the TT into my commuter car, and park my 13.5 mpg Denali in the garage for a few months.

p.s. - Hi Robert! Hope all is well w/ you and the fam!

Yep,

It's utterly ridiculous. I have a Formula 419SR1 with triples in it, 1500 HP, and I am not looking forward to filling that thing up! I tell you the 115 HP Ultra 150 Skiis are bad enough. They suck gas like nobody's business. I'll probably sell the boat, sick of the insurance, up keep, and fuel costs, especially here in Oklahoma where you only use it 3-4 months out of the year. I say this every year and never seem to do it though.

Thanks,
Ted.

Yeah i burn through a ton of boat gas during the summer becuse for those three or four i live on boats and use them each day because they sit behind our house. Most of them are outboards except for teo or three and they drink fuel. I bet jet skiing will take a turn for the worst this summer too.

Hey Collin -

I have a horrible memory and don't remember what I was getting before. I'm cruising at 16-17mpg now (city). I haven't done much hwy driving since the flash though - so not sure what I'm doing there.

I will tell you though, I'm having a hard time keeping my foot off of that thing. It is C R A Z Y fast now, and I'm loving that feeling of getting crushed back into my seat. I can't imagine needing any more HP. (famous last words!).

Hope to see you again soon.

- Rich
