Anyone raise rev limiter on TCU?
Has anyone successfully raised the rev limiter in the TCU to actually have the car shift at the new limit?
I tried to raise mine using the evo tcu tune, but I could never get it to shift above 6,750RPM. I had my ECU set to 7,200 RPM (200 RPM difference) and it still shifted at only 6,750.
I inquired about MKB's TCU tuning and they told me they raised their tcu rev limiter to 6,900 RPM and that I must raise my ECU to 7,100 (200 RPM difference). This is the same difference in my car (7k tcu and 7.2k ecu).
I am still perplexed as to why it is not working for my car. Anyone have any ideas? Can anyone with the TCU tune please let me know what they said their ECU rev limiter at and who is their ECU tuner?
Thanks!
