LO_996tt is infamous around these parts
Invos have been nice. My first set had 1 front tire with excessive runout--Discount Tire replaced both fronts. Coming from Contis they are much quieter. I wish they had more lip protection. I have dinged my wheels a couple of times.

Be sure to verify that the tires you choose can be mounted in F/R sets with compatible rolling height so the front drive doesn't burn up.

Conti Sport 2 because they come in 315x25x19. Best match front are rear overall diameter. Will move to PS2 when these go away.

I have Toyo T1Rs and they work very well. Prior to that I had Michelin PS2 which were even better, but the cost to replace them is kinda high. INVOs are pretty good too, I used them in a 20" size before.

Thumbs up

Invos here like them a lot. Sizes are 235/35 19 front and 315/25 19 rear. Great performance and no rubbing.

I'm surprised about all the positive INVO comments. I've never had them, so I can't comment, but I've seen many other say that they're just "ok".

There are comparable tires out there from Hankook (Ventus V12 & RS3) and Bridgestone (RE-11) that I've also heard good things about. The Re-11s can be a little expensive though.

from my expereince with Invo they are "Just OK" nothing more, nothing less.....that's not taking into account when one exploded on the dyno while doing a 4th gear pull in my E55. I emailed Nitto about that and they basically said "Too Bad".

the Invo is the cheapest available tire in the commonly used 19" 235/315 combo. while it is a decent/ok tire the more expensive options like the Toyo T1, Michelin PS, Bridgestone RE11 are all better.

I remember when this happened and was like "Holy S#!T". Seeing that pic again just makes me nervous about that tire. Although it does seem like a freak thing and a more isolated incident, the customer service that you received realy put me off the tires. I was about to buy a set when you had originally posted this.
