I run ps2's all year round on my t4s. They suck in snow but atoll are very responsive and grippy in rain. Goodluck in your search!

I had the Ps2's as my last set but I am very happy with my Invo's had them on for the last 2 years and just ordered my second set of rears last week! Plus can't beat the price.

"best" is completely subjective measurement. What I think is best may be completely unusable to you depending on what you what the tire to do.
Are you looking for the stickiest D.O.T. Legal tire or one that delivered the longest wear ?

My idea of best street tire is going to be an expensive R sticky that last maybe 2000 miles and has a loud and harsh ride but provides ultimate traction in a street tire.

best meaning... traction, ride, noise..would like them to last a few thousand miles... I have yokohamas now, but rears are shot and I have heard good things about the INVOS I can get 4 INVOS for the same cost as 2 rear yokohamas..

My point being, tires are a compromise , you need to establish which of the attributes are important to you and narrow down the choices based on what you want the tire to do.

Traction, durability, ride quality, noise, cost , ect

I have done some tire testing for Nitto tires in their off road and light truck division and knowing a few of their engineers I know the passion and commitment they put into the product. If the tire you are considering meets your specs on paper I would not hesitate to give them a shot. The great thing about tires is they wear out and you can always try a different set next go around.

FYI, nitto is a smaller boutique tire company and some will discount them thinking they do not have the engineering resources of a major tire company. However nitto is actually owned by Toyo and they have access to to the engineering resources of a larger company then they are.

nitto produces a quality product and is priced below the higher profile brands, that is their company's strategy. Value priced performance.

I just went from ps2s on the P to Hankooks k110. Also changed out ps2s on the M coupe to the BFG KDW2s. Both are equall to the ps2 in my opinion. And I also realized I saved a boat load of cash.

I have ps2 on 19s on my car currently and feel that they are pretty harsh and quite noisy. I have driven the same car with 19s and the Nitto Invos and felt like the grip was comparable but the tires were much quieter and the ride a bit more compliant. I think the Invos may have a slightly softer sidewall but can't say that for sure. I plan on trying them At my next tire change.

I've been happy with the Toyo T1Rs.
