You can only drive it on cloudy days, of course, so where's the fun in that...

They do have resins now which will withstand 7 years of direct sunlight without yellowing. Under normal use circumstances, that equate to a very long time.

They showed it sitting with a real GTI of the same factory color and it was really amazing. The article was called "A Sheep in Wolfsburg Clothing" if I recall correctly. Anyone remember that?

unfortunately there are no slicks available in CGT size. i really think that and a more aggressive alignment would be staggering without even touching the weight or power. but if you didn't care about longevity or reliability, you could simply raise the rev limiter. and don't forget the CGT has FOUR cats! there is meaningful weight and power taken by those too.

Imagine there was an 18 inch option (which I'm sure there could have been to fit over the brakes with a custom design). That thing with slicks and more traction would be even more deadly... The fact that it can pull the times it can with rubber band sidewalls for tires is crazy.

I just skimmed this interesting thread/topic. Obviously there is no clear answer. Wasn't AWD developed by Porsche for racing? Also are not Lambo's and the new Bugatti AWD?: if so then I guess they are not a true sportscar.

My God!!! Now that I've reached the end of this Gawd-awful diatribe about whose dick is bigger....without an answer as to RWD, FWD, or AWD superiority, how am I going to know which of my cars I should take down to the local scrap metal yard??
(By the way, not to **** all of you 911 techies off, but I enjoy driving my Boxster S with the M030 and 18" wheels the most. The rear end can get squirrly, and I like it!!)
To me it just comes down to the ****-eating grin I get when I'm either on the track or going down the highway, in either p-car.
