Good Shop/Mechanic in Norcal...

I like Eugenes idea. I need to change my front rotors/ pads. Probably going to do it next weekend, I have done them many times and I have the tools for you to work on your car. You can see me do it, and then I can assist you. It is a an easy job once you know how, right Eugene ?
Only problem is my place is in Morgan Hill, far for folks like Eugene...But hey we can plan something and I can clear out some mess in my garage. I have a car working GTG.
Sharwekrs, is good from reviews here. But from a friends experience, he told me you guys don't use oem quality stuff for brakes :/

Enrique, you know me; no place is too far for me when it comes to driving (just like Eugene the Aerodude). Is June 11 good for you? If yes, maybe we can do a drive (missed the 186 mph road already ) early in the morning and end at your place for the working GTG (what is GTG anyway?).
How's it sound gang? We need to get Guy out there; he is working way too hard. Jason, want to be in?

Enrique, Eugene and the local crew - Excellent idea!!!
I sorta suggested this a while back ....

I'd love to join you guys. Car's been sitting a lot lately with the lousy weather and busy stuff at work.
- would love to learn more about my ride and some self maint. tips/tricks, etc. from you pros.
I used to turn a wrench pretty well when I worked on my muscle cars back in the day - swapped out an M22 in my 1970 LS6 Chevelle for a TH400, reason: no power steering and it was a bear to park! And helped my brother drop an LT1 into a 72 Vega before I had my 350 Vega - and I thought those cars were fast - haha

June 11 should work for me. I don't think I have anything going on that weekend. Would be good to get together with you all. It's been awhile. I realized I've only put a little over 400 miles on the car in the last 3 months! I got a few suspension components that I could use a little guidance installing so this would be great. I got plenty of tools I could pack up and bring over as well.

Jason, please feel free to speak up if you think we are hijacking your thread!
I'm starting a list of potential works on 6/11 (if Enrique agrees):
Enrique - front rotors/pads
Eric - suspension components
Eugene - lower all 4 corners by about 1/4" (anyone has the PSS10/9 adjustment tools?)

That what the list is for Oz! We may not be able to get to everything, but at least we will have an idea of what and how to do it.

If you don't mind an outsider/newbie/prospective buyer(waiting for 991s to flood the market) joining in, I'd love to help and meet some of the crowd. I've done all my own work on all my cars, and have a small set of tools I carry along with me as well.
As a sidenote, +1 to SharkWerks for any mod or maintenance needs, they are beyond a standup shop and have dealt with my incessant questioning, visits and giving me loads of advice for when I make my purchase. They steered me away from a Cayman S and lead me down the path to now waiting for the right time for a GT3. A little off-topic, I am loving the shirt, stickers and plate frame Alex, they look amazing!

Alex, you can always join us if you want; it will just be a fun gathering. I'm sure we can squeeze more tech info out of you; but then, you have a professional image to keep (tight lips).

If the date/time works out for me -- I'd definitely like to join. I don't have any pending work on my car -- but it would be fun to just hangout, help and learn. I've updated the list accordingly.
