cleaning my europipe

have all the stuff ,mothers stainless steel cleaner,stainless seal spray. any other great cleaner to get that stainless steel shine back. have tried buffing, but still have that cloudy look...

I used the "Adam's Metal Polish #2" and it worked wonders on the SS tips on my RUF exhaust.

There is an old thread on 6-spd that talks about a great product for stainless. In this case it was door sills, but maybe this would work for your Europipe.

cjaz is infamous around these parts
barkeepers friend - inexspensive and works great. p21s is pretty good as well.

Hey! That thread looks familiar...

That product (Scratch B Gone) works good for restoring the brushed look to metal. It is very very effective in restoring most metals - it was originally designed for kitchen stainless appliances.

Steve, if your exhaust is polished to a chrome like finish, I'd recommend P21S +/- Mother's metal polish but use an aggressive mechanical buffer...hand polishing won't get it done. Alternatively, you can remove the part that you want to polish and have a metal fabricator use a belt polisher on it.

If you post pics, I'm sure we can give you more advice (or the guys on the detailing section can.)

started off with mothers and a drill buffer . looks ok but then it's under tthe car... thanks for the ideas
