I didn't actually mean file suit. You can just have a lawyer send a letter on letterhead that sites a few Nevada cases that overturn valet liability waivers and say you intend to pursue it and have them pay your legal costs. From their cost/value analysis, it's cheaper to send you a check for $500 bucks than to lawyer up and pay that guy $500 an hour to respond. If they don't bite, you're out maybe $200 bucks (depending on who you hire to write the letter).

I understand you're over this and it's not worth it to you, but if it was, this'd be the cheapest route to get some traction with the other side.

Kudos to deciding to be the bigger man and letting this slide. You'll live longer.
