front pccb pads

Also an excellent solution. Even PCCB eventually wear out.

They are only 420 bucks here.

I don't know why everyone continues to recommend replacing PCCBs with iron so you could gain 45 pounds, lose a little steering sensitivity and stopping power. I have 18k on my car and the PCCBs look like new and don't squeak. Just take care of them, change the pads before you have to and they will last much longer than steel.
Here is a picture of my front brake, the ones that usually do all the work, the rears look just as good. Not one crack anywhere.

WOW that's crazy brake pad wear. Most cars with good stock brakes will get a minimum of 60,000 miles on a set of brake pads. Cars with large calipers/brake pads can get 70,000 or more.
I assume it's your usage as it's not unusual for me to use up a set of track pads every three track days (approximately 800 miles).
Anyone have experience with pad life on a street 996 with PCCB's?
