How to identify X50 package

What are some ways to visually identify an X50 pkg? I thought the dual circle exh tips were a giveaway but I recently saw a non-X50 996TT with them. Thanks...

As far as I know, there are no visible differences from the outside. You may have to just check the option code list under the front hood.

No way to tell from the outside. It says "x50" under the front hood.

Hey Doc, Lift the Bonnet and look on the options label. It will tell you if it has the X50. Pretty much everthing is internal.. Good Luck!!

stick your hand in the slits of the rear bumper and if the intercoolers dont have the slits sticking out its a standard turbo but if they do its a good indication that it an x50 or a modified turbo

The dual exhaust tips are option X54 and are fitted on both X50 and non X50 cars.

My X50 doesn't have an X50 code on the sticker on the hood. Just discovered that yesterday.

Or maybe msindi received the wrong car from the dealer when he purchased it

Why dont you just order a new option sticker from the dealer? Quite odd that it's not on there!

Yeah, it's definitely an X50. The intercoolers are as Allan described. Just odd that the hood sticker doesn't reflect it.
