Super clean, my car's black twin - are you looking at exhausts with cats only because of the CEL or emissions reqs or something else? If it's CEL and you are looking to flash, you can have the CEL for post-cat O2 sensors turned off when you get a flash.

If you chose to expand to no-cat exhausts, consider this:

Have fun with the new ride!

I'm not really worried about emissions, I just don't want it to be over-the-top loud and/or drone. I'm leaning towards the Speedtech 3.0 w/ cats as it sounds great but isn't overwhelmingly loud.

Got ya, I guess it's hard to say what's just right and what's over the top since it comes to personal preference. If you decide to consider it, I'm happy to shoot a clip at any specific speed or idling, just let me know.

I'm moving to a straight pipe w/no mufflers since I only drive the car 1 day a week and just want the raw experience.

From my recent experience, eliminating the cats from a already "muffled" exhaust just makes the tone a bit more "open" and metallic, but the sound level doesn't raise much.

At idle it is still pretty quiet, but you'll hear it more when wot.

And listening to those turbos spooling is priceless...

After driving my 02, all the way to 60,000miles I decided to get a flash. Got the UMW one (along with DV's,Coil Packs, Sparks, Oil, Filter, Coolant hoses, Turbo hoses(last revision from porsche are the same material from 997tt), air filter & MAF).

So, i went for a bit on canyon carving, and and a couple of highway pulls the day later, clutch gone. I called in, confirmed that it can happen with the new tune due to the GOBS of torque, so I ordered a new clutch+LWFW.

Kevin has been top notch all the time, and usually responds within 2-3 hours via email.

Dunno about EPL, have heard great things about him as well. After I replace my clutch this week, I am going to dyno my car on the same dyno that a my03 with AP intake, fabspeed (gen 3 I believe) exhausts and EPL tune lay down 415ish AWHP. Lets see how it compares.

Ill keep everyone posted.

Absolutely, that's the exact reason I wanted the x-pipe w/4 mufflers. I'm just always overly cautios selling anything because people can be picky and I don't want someone coming back at me with accusations. :-)

Anyway, I'm done derailing your thread buddy... Enjoy in good health.
