My new 02 996TT 6spd w/ 20k miles

I just picked up this beauty a few days ago out of SLC Utah from a private party. The car is IMMACULATE inside and out and runs like a top. Honestly, it almost looked too clean so I had a very thorough ppi performed and it passed with flying colors. This is my first P car so I'm pretty stoked (needless to say!). I've owned several MKIV Supras, a gen III Viper, BMW 335i/M3/M6, an MB E55 AMG, and this baby is hands down my favorite by far! More mods to follow very shortly.

Specs:
-20k miles
-6spd manual
-Full leather
-Sport seats w/ red deviated stitching (also on rear seats)
-Red deviated stitching on dash and doors
-Bose audio
-CD changer
-Heated seats
-"turbo" door sills
-Aluminum ebrake & shifter
-Carbon fiber speaker surrounds & center dash line trim

Current mods:
-H&R springs
-Ventureshield clear bra
-5% tint
-euro clear sidemarkers
-ashtray & CD holder delete

Very near future mods:
-Exhaust: Switzer, Speedtech, Cargraphic, or Europipe. I'm looking for a lightly used system so whatever brand I find the best deal on here on the forums is what I'll get since they all sound great and are very high quality.
-UMW or EPL tuning
-Bosch 710N diverter valves
-Denso Double platinum spark plugs (to be done when I have the exhaust installed)
-new Hankook V12s all around (great tire for the money! and Tirerack is 20min from my house)
-leather wrapped center console, lid, & rear piece w/ red deviated stitching

Mods for next year:
Switzer P700 for sure, possibly P800 if my budget allows

Beautiful car. You just can't go wrong with a 996 TT especially considering their current prices.
Enjoy it in good health...

thanks for the compliment! I couldn't agree more...this car for the money is hands down the best buy out there bar none. And I need awd where I live so that was just icing on the cake for me. I looked at GT-Rs and 997TTs and I honestly couldn't justify paying DOUBLE the price.

996TT FTW!!!

Congrats and welcome to the forum. Great looking ride and sweet plans. Love the EPL flash and exhaust on these cars. Really helps them come alive and sound more respectable.

Congrats on the new car. You will love it more each time you drive it. Check out a UMW tune also. I love the one I have...custom for each car.

Thanks for the advice, I've heard really good things about UMW too. So UMW or EPL? Decisions decisions...

Nice car. You gotta think of a new avatar. TRD doesn't seem to fit anymore.

lol...I knew someone would chime in on that! But you're right I do need a new one. TRD and Porsche don't quite mix right

cuttysark is infamous around these parts
Congratulations - very clean and low mileage makes it a great find. I like the GIAC flash and AWE exhaust on my '03. Very fast throttle response, and 1.0 bar with new DV's. I really don't know how you compare the various flash/muffler combos. I like what I have, but I haven't driven another car with a different setup to compare. Oh, the agony of trying to decide.....
