Now that is from someone who has first hand customer-vendor experience with the guy...

I had asked a specific question around a kit and this has turned into a bashing session where the guy cant respond. If you have an issue with the guy be a man and go over to Rennlist and have at it. in the mean time back on track with the original question. If you don't have input pertaining to my original question please don't post here, start your own thread.

It is not a bashing session, we are actually trying to help you. A couple members of this forum initiated big build projects with UNM that never delivered.
If you want a fast car you need to lose the attitude, and maybe we will help you.

Dr_jitsu.
I am sure that you can/will find someone to share his bad experience with Kevin/UMW, but that can be said for every business/tuner. Its nearly impossible to satisfy 100% out of every single client. I bet you could find people that would share their bad experiences with 9ff/ruf/proto/vivid/EVOms/...
Just sayin...

Sigh....OK, lets try again. Look at the fastest cars? You will see that it is consistently the same players (Proto, Switzer....the best IMO at getting maximum power out of a stock block, and Evo who are the best, IMO at building motors). Oh, lest I forget, Markski is consistently building kits that produce very fast cars.
Go look at the 60-130 list and the 1/4 mile list and the Mile list. Are there any cars from Kevin? There are 2 cars at the top of that list, who commisioned big builds w/ UMV that after waiting an eternity eventually went w/ EVO. EVO, Switzer, and Proto have many many happy customers, and hardly any that are unhappy. They are sought out by enthusiasts all over the world.
