Need Help: CEL Again!

I recently put an EPL tune on my 2001 Tip and also Bosch 710N diverters. Car ran great until last week I had a CEL come on. Two codes came up: P0234 (overboost) and P1133 (02 Sensing...). Took it to an indy repair facility and they performed a boost leak test. Found a split hose from a 'cycle valve'. Hose was replaced Friday and codes reset. Car ran great Friday afternoon, Saturday and again this AM. No WOT runs, just having some fun at 1.0 bar once in a while. On my way home from a show this AM the lights came on again and car won't go past .4 or .5 bar!! Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Firstly your car sounds like it has gone into limp home mode.
Secondly, read out the codes with a Durametric and post. There is no point in pre-guessing what the problem is untill the codes have been read.

I take it once you have restarted the car it is no longer in limp mode?
ie has switching on and off removed the limp mode?
As to thr codes , I presume you will post them when you have them.

Only turned it off once and didn't push it coming home. I am guessing it has another boost leak. I will post once I get more info. Thanks for the input.

you sure you have the tune in the car? I have seen same codes when someone thought they put the flash in the car.. and they didn't... the overboost in particular... really doesn't make sense..

It has the tune. Boost comes in right away compared to stock and runs at 1.0 bar (when its running properly).

I would be tempted to look at the N75 boost control valve and associated hoses/piping, I have mulled over the codes with the diagnostic manual and it does say over boosting the other code can either be O2 running lean oot or rich oot . You will have to post up the new codes first as there could be other underlining problems.
I would get all the codes reset now you have had the split hose fixed, take the car for a good run and get the codes read out again. See what codes have been rectified.

One more bit of information. The hose that split last week was 15, so that was replaced. I wonder if a malfunctioning item could be causing this. Not sure what the number 44 valve, the description just says 'cycle valve'.

Thats your N75 valve. Certainly a reason why you might be over boosting. The wastegate actuators would not have been getting the correct pressure to shut them down when the boost has reached its design limit. Sorry for constantly asking , but, What codes do you get now the pipe is fixed.

Sorry, I don't have the codes yet. Could not get in today, therefore it will have to wait until NEXT Wednesday. I may run to Autozone tomorrow just for the codes though. I do know that when they tested the car last week, the wastegates started to move together at 6psi. Also checked the frequency valve operation and it was okay.

Have you thought of investing in a Durametric diagnostic tool :
http://www.durametric.com/default.aspx

Even the enthusiast version which can be used on 3 individual cars ( ie 3 vin numbers) or the pro version which can be used on as many cars as you like but is a bit more expensive.

You've got to get a code reader, better yet the durametric... It will pay for itself in one visit.

The dreaded Boost leak test from the turbos will show any split hoses, and or leaks at the N75 valve... Ironically most think that just because its a Porsche it doesn't have boost leaks... lets put it this way.. Today I finished a car... a 6 speed member.... he said his boost was down from 1.4 bar to 1.1 bar.. no codes, no noise... I pressure tested and found the issue in 30 seconds... one line going to the back of the splitter piece after the TB has 3 hoses... one came off.. hard to get to.. cant see it.. but can hear it when tested...

ANother car I took in... he had all 3 N75 hoses leaking... one was cut... including 2 boost leaks at the aftermarket hoses on the stock ICs...
pressure test guys.. invest in a tester kit and decent compressor... it will go a long way...
markski

Okay, just got back from the shop. Codes this time are P1126 and P1133, both o2 sensing lower range. Reset the codes. Car sputtered for about a mile, probably due to having the codes cleared. I am not confident they won't return, just doesn't seem to be running great. Did run smoothly with tech in the car up to 1.0 bar but somewhat erratic for me later.
