what is the best way to get a good launch? and are there any upgrades i can get such as launch controllers or stall convertors or anything like that ?

Yes there is.
Put the car into M and 1st gear. Push the brake as hard as you can, stand on the pedal. Floor the throttle watch the boost rise, release the hand brake and foot brake at the same time and the car will launch much much quicker.
Its called brake boosting. Be warned it is a much more violent a start, the rear end could loose traction as well.

Don't do it at a junction, sometimes the torque build up so much the brakes can find it hard to hold the car in one spot.
With an uprated stall limit in the TC you can build even more boost and hence an even quicker start.

note: If you turn the TC off, remember it wont change gear at the red line.
