also, i believe the article said yesterday the red line has been lowered on the MC12. this and the weight might be why it gets so smacked by the enzo.

They ran a car at Sebring this year - after significant dispute from Aston and Corvette teams as it was not originally going to run the series - it now will which will be great for some more diversity in ALMS and GT1. This and the Porsche prototype should liven things up ('though Penske really should have gone for LMP1!)
The Masser required some homologation because it didn't meet GT1 spec (it was too long for starters) It looked great but with a ballast penalty on board, didn't really stand a chance. Certainly sounded the business blasting down the pit straight under us!
This Sunday's race at RA should be interesting - anyone going?
