What's it worth?

I have a buddy in LA looking to sell his 02 Black on Grey TT.

I think sticker was about 130K (carbon package?). 12k Miles. over 2 years left on factory warranty.

What's it worth?

BTW he is also looking to sell his 360 Hardtop http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=84156

probably mid high seventies to mid 80's. By the way, 160k for a 360 with 6000 miles? Good luck.

Factory warranty = 4 years!

an 02 still has about 2 years factory warranty by definition. Don't quite understand why you think it had no warranty?

If bought in early '02, then the warranty could be expiring in less than a year

Thumbs down

02 TT new around 120K
2 Years later and with low mileage 82K.

Let's see drop of around 38K or around 19K per year.

I am not a math major but i would say that's pretty bad.

30% drop in 2 years?

Pretty sad when the wholesale prices for 02 TT's are in the mid 70's. For those that are trading their TT's in, you're taking it in the shorts.

The 993TT's are looking better than the 996's.

Leave it to Porsche to ruin the market.........again.....

I don't think Porsche ruined the market. They are here to sell cars, right? These lower priced used cars allow people who could not normally have one, stretch and get into a used one.
I wanted a TT cab, but I could not affford $135K. I got a NA cab, but I still dream of getting a TT cab one day. Maybe in a few years I'll be able. I know when the 997 cab comes out in a few years, they will be $130K to $140K, maybe I could swing this with a long loan but it is a lot of money for a working family man with kids on their way to college etc.
As I said I feel my only hope is to buy one used.
Just my.02, hope I didn't offend anyone.
