Anyone know at how many RpM is set rev limiter on Cargraphic-RsTuning chip ? 7000 - 7100 - 7150 - 7200 ?

 

r. schmirler has 4 sets....a 624hp version with 7200rpm....(with camshafts)....all others are 7000.....one version with 7150rpm....(TÜV dont allow over 7000rpm...reason are tires )

Winni , thank you very much for your great answer , i ask this because my tuner had used an Rs tuning software to reprogram my ecu ,but he don't tell me at how many rpms is set the new redline exactly , so driving the car i saw the gauge over 7K sure when i hit rev limiter, but only by viewing i can't determinate if it was at 7100 -7150 or 7200.
Now thanks to you i know mine is surely set at 7150 , maybe my tuner had choose the NON TuV version because im in Italy where Tuv is not legally approved in any case.
Why you say Tuv don't admit over 7000 for tires ? The reason is max speed in 6th gear ?

yes tüv allow only 7000 in 6.gear, to much speed.....tires are the problem....i see you are from italy.... sometimes i dream about italian sun, mare e` dolce vitas....at the beach in riccione

 

HeHe.. Everyone dream for what he has not ...Sure in this season "sole , mare" and Riccione are not bad ..but i'd like to go a little over 130 Km/h without fear of the cops ...
In any case i come 2-3 times a year in Germany , sure i come for AUTOBAHNS and expecially for Nordschleife but i admit there are very much beautiful places in Germany.
When i come to Nurburgring my base is in COCHEM in Reinland , Mosel is very beautiful and also city like KOBLENZ , TRIER , KOLN...i hope i can come back to Germany very soon !
