Congrats on the ride Chris and thanks for letting me drive it and experience it first hand. It's really something else and if you had me blindfolded I would have never guessed I was in a Porsche. The mechanical sounds and noises are that much different. There aren't many cars where traction is an issue at 100+ mph in low boost and it makes you wonder how this thing would hook up in AWD. Be safe in the sandbox and look forward to seeing you soon...

I really enjoyed reading this entire thread, primarily and selfishly because on my 996TSCab Protomotive build, we decided to go the E85 route for high boost with 93 octane for low boost, since both fuels are readily available in my town (ten stations within 25 miles of me),
But mine will be Todd's 4.0L conversion, probably using GT35 turbo's instead of tweaked Alpha 30's, since corn-fed motors have less lag, plus my car is a cabriolet, street-only vehicle, so a little lag is okay if I want to run the car off boost at part throttle and lower rpm's.
I'll create my own thread once we get the build near completion, with info. and pics from Paul and John from Protosport in NJ.
