Plan 1= do a bolt on turbo kit. Nothing crazy, want to stay reliable.
Plan 2= port and polish the heads, bump the compression, custom headers, extrude hone the intake, multiple throttle bodies, 200 shot direct port nitrous.
Turbo kit is VERY time consuming, so everything depends on SP's time constraints. They are extremely busy.
The problem we are running into is they also have my Esprit which i want to get done quickly, and i also need my Diablo finished by August for the Running of the Bulls.

If it were up to me though, I would just do number two (to stay on the safe side) and then for the price difference of what Turbo charging would cost... bring an Arial Atom 275 to Maui, and not only will you be the talk of the town, but it would be faster than a Turbocharged SV.

Do you already have a nitrous system installed? In my humble opinion nitrous only belongs in true drag cars and "street racers." If you install a turbo charger I can't emagine why you would even want/need N2O.

I dont think id post pics of a burning Lambo on a board where several members have had their cars go up in Flames.... Can you say Gemballa?
Anyway, we'll see what the final outcome on my car is. Uptill now it has been completely reliable, and i dont want to change that. There is also a board member who is having his Gallardo E-gear twin turbocharged by Jason Heffner.

The pic of the lambo was after a mechanic took the car out after servicing it. All cars have been known to catch fire. In Florida i saw an NSX burn to the ground.

To do a twin turbo or supercharger kit on a diablo is extrmely expensive to do correctly, and you can accomplish the same power goals for a fraction of the price with nitrous. The instant power asnd torque is also a rush.
