More Info on Upsolute Stage II

I've had UPSOLUTE for over 15,000 miles ... I get the ABS/PSM lights popping up when I hit 1.2 bar boost ... they have a fix for this, I've just never gotten around to doing it ... other than that it's the best bang for your money unless you buy a Z06

Upsolute for 18 months and 10K miles on stock turbos and exhaust- no CEL/ABS/PSM lights or cold start up problems ever. Throttle response at part and full throttle is better than stock and remains so after all this time even on our 91 oct gas . Best $500 mod ( for 75-90 hp ) there is in all of autodom, if you think about it.

I have the StageII setup and although it does require some patience and hands on work... i've been very happy with the results...especially after the dyno.
If I had to do it all over again, I would have gotten the full stageII turbos with the works...ported/polished, ceramic, etc.
The program needs one more update and i think it will be perfected....
No issues with ABS/PSM lights and close to 31K miles on the clock....
I'll try running race gas next time to see if I can get over the 500 AWHP mark.

Where can I find more info about this chip? It sounds like an alternative to the GIAC chip but for a lot less $$$. Anyone in Chicago do the install?
Is this a flash loader or do you have to send the ECU out to be re-programmed?
TIA,
Adam

www.upsolute.com. Check with Rene about a local contact to upgrade your ECU. If not, pull it out and send it to him. Turn-around is usually 24 hours. The ecu is actually rechipped but can be easily changed back to stock.

That's a great idea to purchase another ECU. Anybody know an approximate cost? If it's costly I would rather do the GIAC as I think you can "unload" it prior to your trip to the dealer. Is this correct for the GIAC? May be easier too.

The question is, are the keys, security system programmed for the ecu the car came with, otherwise sounds like a decent plan. $1500 for ecu, $500 to reflash you current ecu and add an exhaust, great bang for the buck and the dealer shouldnt be able to give you any grief. This is why i am not modded i am certified having another 2 years on to p of the oem warranty.

I am actually having problems with the memory settings and keys. My deal said my car requires a new "memory module" for $1500 in order for the memory seats to work again. Car is under warranty so I will have it fixed shortly. My point is if there is in fact a memory module the security system, keys, and memory seats should work fine. Can anyone verify my theory?
